1. Scope of Services

bymillwork offers the following professional drafting and advisory services:

  • Millwork Shop Drawings
    We deliver precise and detailed drawings using Cabinet Vision software to ensure usability and accuracy.

  • Catalog Development
    We create catalogs that include title blocks, material schedules, and custom door designs aligned with your project requirements.

  • Drafting Packages
    Our drafting packages follow Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) standards or client-specific criteria.

  • IT Advisory Services
    We provide consultation on server and network installations for millwork firms to help optimize operational efficiency.

2. Disclaimer: No Engineering or Structural Liability

bymillwork exclusively provides drafting services. We do not:

  • Offer engineering services

  • Conduct structural integrity assessments

  • Review or certify compliance with building codes

  • Guarantee manufacturing outcomes or installation quality

All deliverables are provided “as-is.” It is the client’s responsibility to ensure:

  • Compliance with AWI or applicable industry standards

  • Adherence to local building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations

  • Proper review and approval by licensed professionals

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete project data

  • Review all deliverables before production begins

  • Ensure all designs meet applicable codes and standards

  • Hold bymillwork harmless for any misuse or misapplication of our work

4. Intellectual Property

All work produced by bymillwork remains our property until full payment is received. Once paid in full, you are granted a non-exclusive license to use the material solely for your project.

5. Payment Terms

  • Payment terms will follow the agreement made per project.

  • Work may be paused for overdue payments.

  • No refunds will be issued once drafting has begun.

6. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is strictly limited to the amount you paid for the specific service. We are not liable for:

  • Errors stemming from incomplete or inaccurate information

  • Delays caused by client actions or third parties

  • Defects in manufacturing or regulatory non-compliance

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles.
